I was covering the groom’s preparations in this occasion, which is always fun and different. I don’t get to shoot the groom’s preparations normally when I work for my own clients, as the main photographer I always stay with the bride, so it is great to second shoot every now and then and get to cover these other parts of the day and explore my more masculine side!
As a surprise, the groomsmen had an A-team van prepared for the groom, who was a fan of the TV show, ready to take them to the church. Driven by Mr.T lookalike! I was lucky enough to travel with them in the van. I cannot really say that being a wedding photographer is boring…
The wedding ceremony was at Saint Mary Magdalene’s church in Enfield, north London. This church is absolutely amazing, outside and inside, specially inside. A shame that we were quite restricted and the taking of the photos was only allowed from above and we couldn’t get close to the bride and the groom.
After the ceremony in Enfield, we all moved to Hunton Park again for the reception and wedding breakfast.
There, there were a lot of kids playing and a many kids trying out the fascinators and hats from their mums, which I captured in some photos you can see below.
