What should our first step be to book you as our wedding photographer? It’s really easy. I suggest we arrange a consultation appointment, this is free of charge and allows us to meet in person to talk about your wedding, your requirements and expectations and gives us the chance to get to know each other and for you to see more of my work.

How far in advance should we book you? The sooner you contact me the bigger the chances of me being free on that date. Most couples book their wedding photographer months beforehand and sometimes more than a year ahead, so if you leave it until last minute, and especially if your wedding is during the high season you may find it difficult to book the photographer you like. Winter weddings on the other hand don’t require such big notice as it is not such a busy period. All weddings should ideally be booked at least one month beforehand to allow time to visit the venues and prepare.

Can I book now if my wedding is in 2017? I am currently taking bookings for 2016 and 2017. Prices on my site at the moment are for 2016 weddings and they also apply to 2017 weddings if you book your date before June.

Will it be you personally taking our photographs? Myself, of course!I am a one-woman business and I will be the one meeting you, taking your wedding photos and editing them. A photographer’s personal style is very important to get consistent results. Sometimes a second shooter will come with me if you require so, to get some extra shots from different perspectives and for better coverage if you are having a big wedding. My second shooters work in a very similar style to myself and all the photos are finally edited by me with my signature style.

How many photos do you take on the day? I take quite a lot of photos on a wedding day, but that also depends on the package you have chosen (full day or only a few hours). I am more worried about quality than quantity though, and I love when this is what my couples are after too. On average I deliver 500+ for a full coverage package and all the photos are edited to look their best with my personal style.

Do you take any group photographs? My style is mainly documentary and that means capturing your wedding as it flows, naturally, with very few posed photos; these being mainly photos of you two after the ceremony. However, I understand the importance of having a few group photos with your dearest family members and friends and I do organize this in a natural way and  trying to keep it as short as it can be. I don’t want to dominate your wedding and I like to keep a low profile. I believe this is best for everyone and I want you to be the stars of the day.

Do you deliver black and white photographs? I deliver around 10% of my photos in b&w. This percentage can vary a little depending on the particular circumstances of each wedding.

How long will it be before we can see our photos? It can take up to 5 weeks until you receive your whole wedding on a memory stick. I am aware that this may feel a bit of a long wait for a couple who wish to see their wedding photographs as soon as possible, which is why I will email you a selection of them a few days after the wedding. It also depends on the time of the year your wedding takes place, winter weddings (November to February) have in general a shorter wait.

Are there any extra costs apart from the cost of the packages? Consultation and visit to the venues is free. You can choose to have a second shooter coming with me on the day. This is highly recommended for weddings with more than 120 guests . The extra cost of a second shooter is £30 per hour (minimum of 3 hours) or £200 for the full day. If your wedding is far from London some travel or/and accommodation expenses may apply, depending how far your wedding is. We can discuss this in our first meeting.

How long do you stay on the day? Depending on the package you choose. If you go for my more complete coverage, this includes from the preparations (at the time you consider to be the best to start) and until a bit after the first dance. After the first dance I normally stay for half an hour more so I’ve got time to capture some of the fun and people dancing and I take any last minute requested photo. If there is no traditional first dance, the duration of the services will be 9 hours in total.

What areas do you cover? I am London-based and photograph weddings in London most of the time, but I offer professional wedding photography services across the UK and abroad.

Can we choose the images in our wedding photobook? Of course! You can choose a selection of your favorites as well as the one to go on your cover.

Will my guests be able to see our wedding photos on your site? I create a password protected online gallery for your guests to view on my website. The creation of this gallery is free of charge and it can be ready after you have received your DVD. This gallery will be live for 6 months.

Do you put all of your wedding photos online? Not all. I normally upload one or two photos of your wedding on my website’s gallery, sometimes none, depending on how often I update it. I blog most of my weddings, uploading more photos on my blog. Blogging weddings is industry standard and as a photographer is key for me to be able to show my work in order to attract more clients. If you have any privacy issues this needs to be discussed in your first meeting with me or before you sign the contract and I am sure we can reach an agreement.
